As we build our inventory of equipment and supplies and continue to plan educational programs and events to be held in the Makerspace and STEM Lab, we want to hear from YOU!

One of the most exciting and innovative features of our new library building is the Annie Gotwald Makerspace and STEM Lab. Funded thanks to the generous donation of the Gotwald family, and named in honor of nine-year-old Ann Gotwald,* this engaging space is designed to celebrate, facilitate and educate our patrons in a wide range of  technological and creative pursuits. The Annie Gotwald makerspace and STEM Lab was officially unveiled to the public on August 3, 2024.

Please complete this short survey and tell us what you would like to see in this amazing space.

*Annie Gotwald was a bright and inquisitive young girl whose favorite subject in school was S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Annie dreamed of becoming an engineer and building rockets for NASA. Her curiosity and fearlessness in the face of challenges were truly inspiring, and although her life was tragically cut short, her legacy will live on through this space.

Thank you again to the Gotwald family for their donation and support of the Makerspace and STEM Lab. Learn more about the Ann K. Gotwald fund here.
