We Are Moving!

After years of planning and preparing, we are finally moving into our beautiful new library building, located at 17400 Westfield Blvd., Westfield, IN 46074.

The Westfield Washington Public Library will temporarily close its doors on Monday April 22, 2024, as staff embark on the monumental task of packing up the library’s collections, furniture, and equipment, moving to, and unpacking at our new library building.

Here’s what is available to you during our closure:

• Use our Electronic Resources
• Listen to eAudio and read eBooks – via Libby and Hoopla Online
• Check your account online
• Visit any of the 130 Indiana Libraries and use your WWPL Evergreen Card – for a complete list of Evergreen Indiana libraries and their locations, visit this link
  • Check out their materials
  • Call to ask specific account related questions
  • Place holds on materials from other Evergreen Indiana Libraries – you will just need to change your pickup library to a nearby Evergreen Indiana library
    • Sheridan Public Library
    • Hamilton North Public Library (in Cicero)
    • Hussey-Mayfield Public Library (in Zionsville)
  • Visit other non-Evergreen Hamilton County Public Libraries – to check out materials you must first register as a Reciprocal Borrower.
    • Carmel Clay Public Library
    • Hamilton East Public Library (Fishers and Noblesville Branches)
• Keep all WWPL materials until we open up in our new location
